2. Golden Dragon Parade

Parade route begins at intersection of Cesar Chavez Ave?& Broadway.
Parking with free shuttle service will be available at Dodger Stadium lots 40, 41, and 42.
LA 18 and Chinese Chamber of Commerce present the 109th Annual Golden Dragon Parade.
A colorful celebration along North Broadway in Chinatown, the Parade has become the premiere
cultural event in Southern California's Asian American community. Since the mid-1980's,
the procession has expanded to include almost two dozen floats, multiple marching bands,
government officials, various dignitaries, entertainers, local business leaders and cultural groups.

3. Lunar New Year Festival (The Year of the Rat)

Where: Los Angeles Chinatown - Broadway & Cesar Chavez Ave
LA 18 and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce present the Lunar New Year Festival
in Chinatown. The Festival features an impressive array of food and entertainment
for the entire family to enjoy: carnival, cultural performances, delicious food &
sampling, arts & crafts, cultural goods, and giveaways galore.
4. 17th Annual Chinese New Year Festival

When: Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, 10AM-5:30PM
Where: Valley Blvd, between Garfield and Almansor, Alhambra
To embrace the spirit of the New Year, beautiful floats, mighty bands, an
energetic winding dragon, as well as a lion dance with acrobatic martial arts will
give spectators a taste of the Chinese culture. The parade will be watched by
approximately thirty thousand people lining the 1.5 mile route on Valley Blvd.
Beginning in San Gabriel and ending in Alhambra.
